Synopsis
Set in Penang of 1800, Lt Governor Leith is wrestling with increased piracy along the Penang-Kedah coastline, Rani Dhobi is trying to establish her laundry business; both have obstacles to overcome and fulfill their individual missions - one on a river and one in the Straits.
